DPR Speaker Puan Maharani Becomes An Honorary Citizen Of Brimob
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Puan Maharani was awarded as an honorary citizen of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps for his services in providing attention and participation in the development of the Brimob Corps.
As quoted from Antara, Sunday, November 15, the award as an honorary member of the Brimob Corps was given to Puan at the Brimob 75th anniversary ceremony which was held virtually last Saturday.
"Decree of the Commander of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps Number: Kep / 131 / XI / 2020 concerning the Awarding of Honorary Citizens of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps decided to award the Main Honorary Citizen of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps as an award for his services in providing attention and participation in the development of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps to Puan Maharani, Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the period 2019-2024, "said a quote from the Decree of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps Commander signed by Inspector General Pol Anang Revandoko.
Puan then received a beret, jacket, Brimob pin, coat of arms, and a certificate of appreciation as the main honorary citizen of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps.
"Congratulations on the 75th Anniversary of Brimob, continue to be the state monks," said Puan.
Before being awarded as an honorary citizen of Brimob, Puan had previously received a number of awards, such as an honorary doctorate from Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang for her contribution in the social, cultural and human development fields, on February 14, 2020.
On 9 September 2020, Puan was awarded as an honorary citizen of the State Intelligence Agency.
Then, on November 11, 2020, Puan, who is an alumnus of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, was awarded the Mahaputera Adipradana Star by President Joko Widodo for his services to the nation and state.
