Miley Cyrus Collaborates With Dua Lipa, Joan Jett, And Billy Idol For New Album
JAKARTA - Singer Miley Cyrus released the track list for her latest album, Plastic Hearts on her Instagram account, on Friday, November 13.
In this album, Cyrus invited several famous soloists to enliven his album, namely Dua Lipa, Joan Jett, and Billy Idol.
Judging by the album cover and the selection of collaborators, it seems that the Hannah Montana actor wanted a rock concept to dominate the Plastic Hearts album.
"I added material that some sound like Joan Jett, bringing back a rock n 'roll feel," he said in an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock.
This track list also answers fans' curiosity after photos of Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa in the recording studio spread on the internet. After being uploaded, this post received a positive response from fellow musicians.
"You have Joan Jett on your album. Legend," wrote rapper Juicy J.
Apart from the three singers, Miley Cyrus also sampled the voice of Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac for the track Midnight Sky. "You can borrow it from me at any time," said Nicks to Cyrus quoted from Dazed on the same day.
Besides preparing for the Plastic Hearts album, Miley Cyrus is working on a Metallica cover album that rock lovers have been waiting for.
Miley Cyrus' new album, Plastic Hearts, will be released on November 27, 2020.
