A Friends Reunion Special Episode Will Be Recorded In March 2021

JAKARTA - After months of delay, there is good news regarding the reunion of the television series Friends. According to one of the cast, Matthew Perry, the special episode will be recorded in March 2021.

Previously, the Friends reunion plans had been announced since February this year. At that time, they were about to record the episode with an audience in March.

But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to postpone the plan to June and July. The WarnerMedia production team put off returning because the pandemic has not subsided.

Several players such as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow met at the 2020 Emmy Award. The meeting shocked fans and audiences alike.

Matthew Perry, who plays Chandler said, although they only recorded a special episode in 2021, they seem to be busy with all reunion activities.

The special episode will be broadcast via streaming service HBO Max. Reportedly HBO is fighting with Netflix for copyright. HBO Max paid US $ 400 million for the rights to the series.

Apart from that, the Friends Reunion special episode did not use a script and all the main players were confirmed to be present in the episode.
