JAKARTA - Joko Anwar's newest film, Pengabdi Setan 2: Communion premieres today, Thursday, August 4. This film continues the story of the terror of the mother in Pengabdi Setan (2017).
Not a day before its release, the film Pengabdi Setan 2 has been watched by more than 500 thousand people. This news was shared by the director via social media.
"There is still a long way to go, but until 16.00 today, there is good news from Servant of Satan 2, friends," wrote Joko Anwar on the same day.

The poster shows the film Pengabdi Setan 2 until 16.00 which has been watched by 501,171 people. This figure is projected to continue to grow considering that the broadcast is not yet a day.
Pengabdi Setan 2: Communion tells the story of the Suwono family after escaping from their mother's terror. Five years later, they moved to a flat in the north of Jakarta.
Rini (Tara Basro) tries to take care of Bapak (Bront Palarae) and his younger siblings. Tony (Endy Arfian) and Bondi (Nasar Anuz) are now growing up as teenagers living with new friends.
