The National Police's Timsus Opens Up Other Suspects After Bharada E's Detention

JAKARTA - The National Police have named Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E as a suspect in the shootout that killed Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. Bharada E has been detained.

The Director of General Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Brigadier General Andi Rian ensured that the investigation of the case that occurred at the inactive Propam Kadiv official house, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, in the South Jakarta area would continue.

"The investigation or investigation is still developing. There are still several witnesses who will undergo examination in the next few days," Andi told reporters, Wednesday, August 3 night.

To Bharada E, the Special Team (Timsus) of the National Police formed by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo suspected three layers of articles. Including Article 338 of the Criminal Code related to the alleged crime of murder.

Bharada E was also charged with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code which are associated with conspiracy in criminal acts.

The coated article was imposed on Bharada E after the Special Team formed by the National Police Chief determined that the person concerned was a suspect based on examination of about 42 witnesses including experts and evidence and carried out a case title.

"We have considered it sufficient to establish Bharada E as a suspect under the suspicion of Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code," Andi said.

Regarding the handling of this case, the National Police Timsus scheduled an examination of the inactive Propam Kadiv Inspector General Ferdy Sambo this morning. "Scheduled tomorrow at 10," said Andi.

Meanwhile, the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Putri Chandrawati, has not yet been able to be questioned by the Special Team of the Police.
