MAKASSAR- A young man with the initials AS (22) was the victim of beatings up a group of people using a motorbike. The victim's car was also damaged.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Rappocini Police, Iptu Nurtjahyana said the car of the victim was being chased by a motorized group from the front of Telkom Pettarani to the side of the Rappocini Police.
"Initially the victim passed on Jalan Veteran with a loud car engine sound so that the victim was chased and pelted and chased by a group of young men riding motorbikes of about 500 people. The victim quickly sought help, but before the Police the victim's car was blocked. One of his friends fled inside. The police leave the car beside the police, ”said Iptu Nurtjahyana.
The mob then damaged the car by throwing stones and kicking the victim's car. The victim suffered head injuries. His back was also hit by a bow.
"At around 04.45 WITA, the victim and his friend were taken to the Bhayangkara hospital to get medical treatment," he said.
From the information gathered by the police, it is suspected that this beating was due to the car touching the motorbike driver.
"It is necessary to conduct interrogation of the victim to determine the origin of the problem between the victim and the group of motorcyclists because the victim was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol," said Iptu Nurtjahyana.
