Woman Insurance Agent In Bali Arrested For Being A Drug Courier, 320 Ecstasy And Methamphetamine Confiscated

DENPASAR - A woman with the initials RA (27) who works as an insurance agent was arrested by the Denpasar Police, Bali, for possessing hundreds of pills of ecstasy and methamphetamine.

The perpetrator was arrested on Jalan Pulau Bungin Pemogan, South Denpasar, Bali, on information from the public about drug trafficking.

"He's an ecstasy courier, he has around 300 pills (ecstasy) in his hand," said Denpasar Police Narcotics Head AKP Mirza Gunawan, Wednesday, August 3.

From the hands of the perpetrators, the police seized 320 ecstasy pills and 31 plastic clips containing methamphetamine with a net weight of 47.99 grams.

RA has been a drug courier for a year. From the perpetrator's confession, these drugs came from outside Bali. Police are investigating its origins.

"He is a courier," he said.
