Komnas HAM Delays Inspection Of The National Police Headquarters Labfor, Cyber Team Asks To Postpone Until This Friday
JAKARTA - Komnas HAM has postponed the investigation of the cyber team of the National Police Headquarters Puslabfor which was supposed to be conducted today, Wednesday, August 3. The examination process was rescheduled for Friday, August 5 later.
The head of Komnas HAM, Ahmad Taufan Damanik, said that the postponement was carried out because the examination materials at the National Police's Laboratory for Research and Development had not been completed to be shown to his side.
"It was supposed to be today. But then the cyber team asked to be pushed back to Friday, because their materials haven't been finished, so we'll wait for Friday," Taufan told reporters at the Komnas HAM Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 3.
Therefore, Taufan said, currently there is no further investigation process related to the shooting of Brigadier J.
Even so, Taufan said his party continues to coordinate with the Special Team formed by the National Police Chief in the process of further investigation of this case.
"So some of what we asked for, some of them were able to come soon, but some are still being prepared, for example, they postponed it for a day," said Taufan. forensics and cybersecurity related to the shootout incident at the official residence of Inspector General Pol Ferdy Sambo on Wednesday, July 27.
"The cellphone in the picture was still 2, there was a photo of it," said Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam at his office, Jalan Latuharhary, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 27.
Anam said Komnas did not want to mention the owner of the cellphone. However, he said, the character and special identification number or IMEI will be explained by Komnas HAM next week.
"Because this is Labfor's job, the question doesn't belong to who, what character is the cellphone, what is the IMEI. If friends ask what character, how much is the IMEI, next week," said Anam.
Anam said Komnas HAM had also examined 20 videos related to Brigadier J's case, including CCTV on the Magelang-Jakarta trip, the house in Duren Tiga to Kramat Jati Hospital. The video, he said, consisted of 27 points.
"The number of videos we watched, what we checked were 20 videos from 27 points," he said.
Anam added that Komnas HAM would reschedule a follow-up meeting with the Cyber Crime Investigation Team and the National Police Labfor next week.
