MEDAN - The suspect in the Binomo case, Fakar Suhartami Pratama alias Fakarich, has been transferred to the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dit Tipideksus) of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police to the Medan District Attorney. Teacher Indra Kenz will be detained at the Tanjung Gusta Detention Center, Medan.
Head of Intel's Head of the Medan Kejari, Simon said Fakar arrived accompanied by a number of investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Handcuffed, Fakar was brought to the Medan District Attorney's office for the second stage of the handover.
"The Medan State Attorney's Office has accepted phase II of Fakar Suhartami Pratama," said Simon, Tuesday, August 2.
In this case, said Simon, Fakar was charged with violating Article 45 Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph 2 and/or Article 45 Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 28 Paragraph 1 Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning IT Article 3, Article 5 , Article 10 U Number 8 of 2016 concerning ML and or Article 378 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
Simon said that in handling this case, the Attorney General's Office deployed 18 prosecutors. In addition, 3 prosecutors from the Medan Kejari will be seconded.
After being handed over to Dittipideksus investigators, Fakar will be sent to the Tanjung Gusta detention center in Medan to undergo the detention process.
"(Fakar) will be detained for the next 20 days at the Tanjung Gusta Detention Center," he said.
Simon said that in the near future his party will immediately transfer the file of Fakar's case to the Public Prosecutor (JPU). That way, the case will be heard soon.
"As soon as we can delegate it, the Public Prosecutor will make an indictment, then it will be transferred to the court," he explained.
