Respond To The Summons For Examination, Birgadir J's Attorney Brings The Re-autopsy Result Deed
JAKARTA - The team of lawyers for the family of Brigadier J fulfilled the summons for questioning as reporting witnesses at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. On that occasion, a number of evidences were brought, one of which was the autopsy deed.
"There is a lot of evidence. First, witness statements, we have proposed 11 witnesses. Second is letter or deed evidence. Third, expert opinion. Criminal experts, forensic experts, and various kinds," said lawyer Brigadier J, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak to reporters, Tuesday, August 2nd.
The post-mortem certificate is a report from two doctors who were included as witnesses by the family during the re-autopsy process. Then, the report is administratively processed so that it becomes a legal document.
"The notary deed is related to the first result or the provisional result of the second visum et repertum examination and or the second autopsy, because we have notarized it," he said.
The contents of the deed cover all matters discussed by the forensic expert during the re-autopsy process. For example, the presence of wounds on Brigadier J's body to the cause.
"They recorded what the forensic doctors were discussing, for example the depth was 12 cm, it was recorded, there was a shot from behind, it was poked through the nose, it was recorded. The hole was recorded," said Kamaruddin.
Furthermore, Kamaruddin mentioned some of the injuries listed in the deed, namely, the presence of a brain that was not found in the head and moved to the chest.
Then, a number of scars depicting gunshot wounds during the shootout incident between Brigadier J and Bharada E. Then, the wounds from the back were found behind the back of the head that had been glued.
"The glue was removed and then stabbed into the eye, stuck, it didn't penetrate. Then when it was probed or stabbed it went through the nose. It means that the shot from behind went through to the top of the nose. That's what I showed you the picture was stitched. That was the first shot," said Kamaruddin.
In investigating this case, the Police have carried out several investigative steps. One of them is the process of exhumation and re-autopsy of the body of Brigadier J.
A re-autopsy was carried out because there was a request from the family who believed there was an element of premeditated murder behind the case.
The autopsy process on Brigadier J's body will be carried out at the Sungai Bahar Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Muaro Jambi. Then, the National Police team has also carried out a ballistic test at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house at the National Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.
