Three New Suspects In The Adhyaksa Corps Building Fire, One Of Them Is The AGO PPK

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri has named three new suspects in the case of the Adhyakasa Corps building fire. Of the three suspects, one of them is the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) with the initials IS.

"Based on the title of the case, the investigators have identified 3 suspects, namely MD, with the initials J, and the initials IS. So there are three suspects," said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono to reporters, Friday, November 13.

Meanwhile, the other two suspects are parties outside the AGO. They are the party in the procurement of dust cleaner and Aluminum Composit Panel (ACP) cleaning fluids.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Ferdy Sambo, said that MD and J were named because they were parties involved in the procurement of dust cleaners and ACP. These two ingredients are factors that accelerate the spread of the fire.

"Based on a 20-day trial process, the investigators finally raised the status of 3 witnesses to become suspects," he said.

In this fire case, the Police have named 8 suspects. 5 of them are construction workers with the initials T, H, S, K, and IS. They were named suspects for violating the no smoking rule in the personnel bureau hall.

While the other 3 namely, UAM as the foreman, R who is the Director of PT APM and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office, NH.

The determination of the suspect against UAM was reasoned because they did not supervise the five craftsmen while they were working. Meanwhile, R and NH were named as suspects for making an agreement to use Top Cleaner cleaning fluid which is said to speed up the combustion process.

The suspects were charged under Article 188 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 5 years in prison.

Investigators have submitted the investigation files for six construction workers who are suspected of the Adhyaksa Corps building fire. The first delegation took place on Thursday 12 November.

"Has sent a special phase 1 case file to a group of workers with three case files and 6 suspects at 10.00 WIB," said Karo Penmas, the National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, to reporters, Thursday, November 12.

The suspect's case files were transferred to the investigating prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office separately. The case file is divided into three according to their respective roles.

"For the first case file, 4 suspects, namely brothers T, H, K, and S. Then the second case file for one suspect is brother of IS. And the third case file for one suspect is the brother of UAM," said Awi.
