Triggered By A Nudge At A Bar, A Man In Denpasar Was Stabbed 5 Times With Scissors

DENPASAR - Three perpetrators of molestation and stabbing in Denpasar, Bali were arrested by the police. The victim was stabbed due to a misunderstanding during a bump at the bar.

The perpetrators, namely Anak Agung Made Ngurah Surya Widura (34), Anak Agung Ngurah Agung Wirama (23) and I Gusti Ngurah Agung Karna Putra (35) persecuted the victim because of a misunderstanding when touching the victim, I Gusti Arya Anata (22) at the Bar. & Resto Nobata, Denpasar.

"The motive was that there was a misunderstanding between the victim and the perpetrator, namely with the victim touching in the bar and downstairs, in the basement, the perpetrator carried out the attack," said Denpasar Police Chief Kombes Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, Monday, August 1.

The victim suffered 5 stab wounds to the hip, chest, stomach, back and hands. "The victim (currently) is conscious. The victim was hit by five punctures in the abdomen, chest and arms. Then, he was also hit by a chair," added the Denpasar Police Chief.

From the victim's report, the police are looking for the perpetrators in South Denpasar and East Denpasar. The perpetrator was arrested.

From the arrest, the police confiscated a knife made of one-sided scissors including the wood used to persecute the victim.

"The modus operandi is that the perpetrator hit with his hands and a wooden chair and stabbed the victim with a knife when there was a misunderstanding at the crime scene," he said.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 170 Paragraph (2) 2 of the Criminal Code which committed violence and resulted in serious injuries with a maximum imprisonment of five years.
