Central Java Police Chief Asks The Detectives To Move Quickly And Firmly, Making Criminals Think A Thousand Times
SEMARANG - Law enforcement in Central Java must be carried out firmly and precisely. On the other hand, law enforcement should not be carried out in a way that violates the law. This was conveyed by the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi at the local Police Headquarters yard, Monday, August 1.
Strict law enforcement, said Ahmad Lutfi, will have an impact on criminals not to do things in Central Java.
"If the performance of the police, especially the detective function, is quickly and immediately revealed, the potential criminals will think a thousand times to take their actions," said the Kapolda.
He added that the detective function must be able to become a 'genderuwo' (ghost) for criminals. This can happen if law enforcement is carried out quickly and decisively.
"Chase and arrest criminals anywhere. There is sufficient initial evidence, immediately arrest and investigate. But don't just arrest, the most important thing is to reveal (crime cases)," he said.
Even so, the Kapolda underlined that law enforcement should not violate the law. Law enforcement is procedural but must be applied strictly.
"Even though the sky is falling, the law must still be enforced. Therefore, law enforcement must be firm but not by violating the law," he added.
Furthermore, the Regional Police Chief, Ahmad Luthfi, gave his appreciation to the ranks for the disclosure of a number of cases that have attracted public attention.
The rapid disclosure of this case, continued Ahmad Luthfi, should be appreciated because it can more or less answer public concerns about the handling of major cases that occurred in his area.
