Tracing Traces Of The Shootout Of Brigadier J And Bharada RE, The National Police Team Held Ballistic Test

JAKARTA - A special team (timsus) of the National Police held a ballistic test at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house, Duren Tiga area, Pancoran, South Jakarta. The goal is to ascertain the fact that there was a shootout between Brigadier J and Bharada RE.

"To find out the first is the angle of the shot, the second is the distance of the shot, the third is the distribution of the shots," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Monday, August 1.

In this ballistic test, the special team consisting of Inafis, Puslabfor, and investigators from the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the National Police and the Metro Jaya Police focused on two weapons found at the location.

The two weapons include the Glock 17 used by Bharada RE and the HS pistol used by Brigadier J.

However, regarding the results of the ballistic test, Dedi was reluctant to explain. He said the matter would be fully disclosed in due course.

"It will be delivered comprehensively and will have juridical consequences," said Dedi.

On the other hand, this two-star general said that the ballistic test process had been carried out for the first time. Furthermore, other investigative steps will be carried out as soon as possible.

"This is the first time. For the ballistic test from the laboratory results, it will be investigated at the crime scene," said Dedi.

In an effort to investigate this case, the Police have carried out several investigative steps. One of them is the process of exhumation and re-autopsy of the body of Brigadier J.

A re-autopsy was carried out because there was a request from the family who believed there was an element of premeditated murder behind the case.

The autopsy process on Brigadier J's body will be carried out at the Sungai Bahar Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Muaro Jambi.
