Farhat Abbas Lists Smart Party As Candidates For Election 2024
JAKARTA - Chairman and founder of the Indonesian Sovereign State Party (Pandai) Farhat Abbas arrived at the General Elections Commission (KPU) office to register his party as a candidate for a political party participating in the 2024 General Election.
Reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 1, Farhat Abbas arrived with the Pandai leadership at the KPU office, Jakarta, at around 13.00 WIB. Farhat Abbas was then directed to go to the waiting room, before entering the registration room.
The Pandai Party became the ninth party to register to become a political party participating in the 2024 General Election at the KPU RI office on the first day of registration.
Previously, as many as eight parties had registered with the KPU, namely the PDI-P as the first political party to register as election participants, followed by the Justice and Unity Party (PKP), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Reform Party.
After that, the NasDem Party, the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo Party), the Crescent Star Party (PBB), and the Prosperous People's Party (PRIMA).
The KPU previously said that nine national political parties would register with the KPU on the first day of the registration stages of political parties as candidates for the 2024 General Election.
"So later on August 1, 2022, on the first day, based on the application letter and information submitted to us through the 'helpdesk' for registration of political parties, there will be nine political parties that will register," said KPU member Idham Holik, Friday (29/7). ).
