Hasto: PDIP Will Be The First Political Party To Register As Contestants In The 2024 Election
JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP) plans to become the first party to register as a participant in the 2024 General Election (Election) at the General Elections Commission (KPU) on Monday, August 1.
"Tomorrow, Monday (August 1), the central leadership of the PDI-P will be the first registrant for the verification of political parties, the KPU opens at 8 am, at 8 we are at the KPU," said PDIP DPP Secretary General Hasto Kritiyanto at the PDIP headquarters in Jakarta, Sunday. July 31.
He explained that when going to the KPU, PDIP leaders would walk from the DPP office, as part of the green economy and mental and physical health.
According to him, there was a spirit of sport and culture in the walk of the DPP PDIP group to the KPU office at the corner of the intersection of Jalan Imam Bonjol-Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, in Central Jakarta.

He said the General Chair of the PDIP DPP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, had ordered all party elements to be consistent and committed to following all stages of the election.

PDIP has completed the process of sending data as candidates for election to the KPU's online political party information system (Sipol) from the PDIP DPP Office in Jakarta, Sunday 1 July.
The Deputy Secretary General of the PDI-P, Utut Adianto, explained that the political party as a party that passed to the DPR, no longer needed to undergo factual verification, only in the form of a party decree.
However, he said, the conditions had to be 100 percent at the provincial level, 70 percent at the district/city level, and 50 percent at the sub-district level.
"We have 100 percent of provinces, 100 percent of regencies and cities, and we are close to 100 percent of sub-districts. We have registered 477,777 political party members," said the politician with a chess background.
