Bandar Arisan Bodong Rp1.4 Billion Confirmed That The South Kalimantan Police Are Not The General's Wife, It's Just A Mode For Victims To Believe
BANJARMASIN - The South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Regional Police (Polda) said that an arisan dealer with a casualty loss of Rp1.4 billion in Banjarmasin, who claimed to be a general's wife, was refuted.
"To investigators, the FB suspect did not state that. Whether it was a modus operandi to frighten his victims when making a police report, is still being investigated," said Head of Public Relations of the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Mochamad Rifa'i, in Banjarmasin as reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 29.
Investigators from the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police are still investigating the case that ensnared the FB suspect.
There are nine victims who have submitted details of the loss to the police.
Kombes Rifa'i appealed to people who feel and have become victims or members of social gatherings, to report.
This is to determine with certainty the total number of victims and the amount of damage caused by the suspect's actions.
Previously, FB was arrested by the Tiger Team of South Kalimantan Sub-Directorate III Jatanras Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police on Thursday (21/7) during his flight to Malang, East Java.
One of the victims, Mira Febrianti, admitted that she deposited Rp295 million to participate in several social gathering titles with the FB bookie. However, during the seven months following the arisan, his name never appeared during the draw, so the perpetrators continued to delay the draw for various reasons, which should be done every month.
