There Are Only 2 Groups Left At Jeddah Airport, The First Batch Of Indonesian Hajj Returns Will End Tomorrow
JAKARTA - The repatriation of the first batch of pilgrims through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah City, Saudi Arabia, will end in the early hours of Saturday 30 July.
"The return of the first batch of pilgrims is almost complete. Our last two batches departed from Makkah this afternoon to the airport in Jeddah. They are scheduled to fly early this morning," said Mukhammad Khanif, Head of the Hajj Organizing Committee for the Makkah Working Area, in Makkah, Friday.
The last hajj groups to return to the country via King Abdulaziz International Airport are the flight group (klotter) 23 Jakarta-Pondok Gede Embarkation (JKG 23) and the 21st Embarkation Jakarta-Bekasi (JKS 21) group.
Pilgrims who are members of the JKG 23 group are scheduled to fly to the country using a Garuda Indonesia aircraft on Saturday at 01.15 Saudi Arabian time (WAS) and the JKS group 21 will be flown using a Saudia Airlines plane on Saturday at 02.50 WAS.
The first batch of pilgrims departed from the country to Amir Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina City and returned via King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah City.
Meanwhile, the second batch of pilgrims departed from the country to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah City and returned from Amir Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina City.
PPIH Makkah Working Area has gradually dispatched the second batch of pilgrims from Makkah City to Madinah City since July 21, 2022.
As of Friday, 29,413 members of the hajj pilgrims who are members of 74 groups have departed from Makkah to Madinah.
"The departure of pilgrims to Medina will end on August 4, 2022," said Khanif.
After the implementation of the pilgrimage, the second batch of pilgrims departed from the city of Mecca to the city of Medina. They will perform worship at the Prophet's Mosque and make a pilgrimage for eight to nine days in Medina before returning to the country.
