COVID-19 Update As Of 12 November: More 4,173 Cases From 42,165 Specimens Inspection
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 42,165 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 4,173 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 452,291 people," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Thursday, November 12.
Today's cases increased by 3,102, so that a total of 382,084 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 97 people and a total of 14,933 people.
The province with the most new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 831 new cases and a total of 115,174 cases. DKI Jakarta is also the province with the most accumulated cases in Indonesia.
Followed by West Java which has 733 new cases with a total of 42,572 cases. Central Java has 608 new cases and a total of 39,788 cases. Then, East Java has 270 new cases and a total of 55,575 cases.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 1,054 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 524 recovered cases, Central Java with an increase of 338 recovered cases, and East Kalimantan with an additional 244 recovered cases.
Then, there is 1 province that reported having no new cases today. The province is North Maluku.
In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 4,938,958. In detail, as many as 4,849,368 specimens were examined using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 89,590 using a molecular rapid test (TCM).
"The number of positive results per number of specimens examined (positivity rate) was 14.1 percent," he wrote.
Finally, the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 56,868 people. Currently, 505 districts / cities from 34 provinces have had COVID-19 cases.
