Police Investigate Harassment Report Of JKT48 Members
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya is handling reports of alleged harassment of JKT48 members with the initials A (21). The police scrutinized the reporting file.
"We are currently examining the police report. Because this is up to the investigation, we will summon the reporter and witnesses to ask for clarification," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, November 12.
The report on the alleged harassment of JKT48 members was made on November 7. This report is registered under the number LP / 6598 / XI / YAN.25 / 2020 / SPKTPMJ.
Yusri said the alleged harassment occurred on social media. The form of harassment is verbally through sending inappropriate narrative photos.
"He was offended by not accepting the existence of an account on social media Instagram @ Kurniawan0307 which mentions obscene words by showing a photo from the reporter's Instagram and attached with inappropriate words," said Yusri.
In the near future, investigators, continued Yusri, will examine the reporters and witnesses.
"In the future, we are planning to carry out an investigation to summon the reporters and witnesses, including the evidence he reports," said Yusri.
