1 Of 2 Ex-Directors Fainted After Appointed By The Prosecutor Of Corruption Suspects At The West Pasaman Hospital

W Sumatra - The District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has again named two suspects with the initials Y and BS in the alleged corruption case in the construction of the West Pasaman Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

Head of the Special Crimes Section and Kasi Intel Kejari Pasaman Barat Elianto said the suspect's initials Y as the user of the activity budget or the former Director of the RSUD who was also the official commitment maker (PPK) was immediately arrested.

Meanwhile, BS is a former Director of the RSUD who is also a PPK, who will be detained after undergoing a medical examination.

However, BS went into shock and fainted and was immediately rushed to the Ibnu Sina Yarsi Hospital for medical treatment.

"Today we again detained two suspects who are users of the activity budget or the former Director of the RSUD who is also a commitment-making official (PPK), namely the initials Y and BS. Thus, to date, four suspects have been detained," he said at Simpang Empat, West Sumatra, quoted from Antara, Friday, July 29.

He said that in the 2018-2010 Regional Hospital project, which was worth Rp. 134 billion, the state lost more than Rp. 20 billion, according to the calculations of the expert team who examined the physical work of the project.

According to him, the case was revealed from the findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) regarding the planning for the construction of the hospital. Based on that, the prosecutor's investigator conducted an investigation and investigation, including the physical construction of the hospital.

He said that today four people were summoned as witnesses, namely three budget users or three former directors of the hospital initials Y, BS and H and the director of construction management initials MY.

Meanwhile, only two people attended, namely Y and BS. After being examined and evidence was found, namely witness statements, experts, instructions and statements from the suspect, Y and BS were named as suspects and one person was detained.

Regarding this case, the West Pasaman District Attorney also used technical experts and a few days ago gave the results of state losses due to a volume shortage of Rp 20,135,806,257 from the contract value of 134, 859,961,000 which was carried out by PT MAM Energindo.

"One suspect is currently being held in the West Pasaman Police detention house for 20 days before being transferred to the Tipikor District Court," he said.

In addition, his party has also appointed the Director of PT MAM Energiindo with the initials AA, who is currently being detained at the KPK in another case.

On Friday, July 22, the West Pasaman Kejari also detained the official who made the commitment to the initials NI and the liaison partner with the initials HM.

"It is possible that there are other suspects in this case because this case is a mega-project case and involves many parties. We will continue to pursue it. We also found allegations of bribery and gratification in this case," he said.

The suspect is threatened with Article 2 of the Anti-Corruption Law, with a minimum threat of 4 years and a maximum of 20 years. Article 3 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Corruption Law.
