The Deputy Governor Of DKI Asks Other Citayam Fashion Week Brand Registrants To Follow Baim Wong Withdraws Applications

JAKARTA - The application for registration of intellectual property rights (HAKI) at Citayam Fashion Week has indeed been withdrawn by Baim Wong after rejection from the public. However, it turns out that there are still parties who register the Citayam Fashion Week brand.

Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria also highlighted this. He asked parties who are still applying for a patent for the Citayam Fashion Week brand to immediately follow Baim Wong's steps, which have withdrawn their application.

"We thank you, Baim Wong has revoked the Citayam Fashion Week Intellectual Property Rights registration. Other parties, please also help, don't register," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, July 28.

Riza emphasized that the name of the fashion show activity in Upper Hamlet, which is now being loved by teenagers "SCBD" is basically raised by the public and intended for the public as well.

Therefore, the former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives emphasized that there should not be a handful of parties who patented the name Citayam Fashion Week for their personal interests.

"We encourage our children to come forward, not even us seniors taking over and being passengers. Encourage them to be leaders there to improve creations and better innovations," he said.

Previously, the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights said that there had been three parties who applied for the registration of the Citayam Fashion Week brand. Then, one party also applied for the registration of the Citayam mark, namely PT Textile Industri Palekat.

The three applicants for Intellectual Property Rights at Citayam Fashion Week are PT Tiger Wong Entertainment owned by Baim Wong, Indigo Aditya Nugroho, and Daniel Handoko Santoso.

PT Tiger Wong Entertainment registers for types of entertainment services in the nature of fashion shows, entertainment services, namely providing podcasts in the fashion sector, to publication of fashion magazines for entertainment purposes.

Meanwhile, Indigo Aditya Nugroho registers for services for contest selection (entertainment), expos on arts, culture and education, fashion shows, party planning for promotional events in connection with fashion shows and stage performances.

Meanwhile, Daniel Handoko Santoso registered our brand which Fashion Week is in class 25. After receiving criticism from the public and regional heads, Indigo Aditya Nugroho finally withdrew his IPR application on Monday, July 25. Following that, Baim Wong also withdrew the application on Tuesday, July 26.

Thus, the applicant who has not withdrawn the Citayam Fashion Week Intellectual Property Rights registration is Daniel Handoko Santoso, as well as Citayam Intellectual Property Rights registration by PT Textile Industri Palekat.
