Panic! A Family In Cipayung, East Jakarta, Shouts Hysterically When A 1.5-meter Lizard Enters The House
JAKARTA - East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers evacuated a monitor lizard that entered a resident's house on Jalan Swadaya 3, RT 05/02, Number 18, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.
Head of Operations for the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said that after receiving the incident report, he immediately went to the location.
Gatot added that the monitor lizard suddenly entered the house and hid under the television (TV) table. The residents of the house panicked trying to save themselves because they were afraid of the big and long monitor lizard.
"While (the occupants) were relaxing in front of the house, suddenly a monitor lizard ran and entered the house. Its position was under the TV table," said Gatot in a statement, Thursday, July 28.
His party mobilized four personnel to evacuate the monitor lizard from under the table.
"We have deployed four personnel to the location, yes. The evaluation starts at 18.17 WIB and ends at 18.30 WIB," he said.
Gatot added that there were no victims in the evacuation process. The length of the lizard reaches 1.2 meters.
"The souls were saved by 1 family of 4 people. The lizard is 1.2 meters long," he said.
