Brigadier General Prasetijo Denies Ordering Police Commissioner Jhony Bakar To Fake A Pass, Said The Police

JAKARTA - The National Police emphasized that they do not want to respond to Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo's statement at the trial at the East Jakarta District Court. In court, Brigadier General Prasetijo admitted that he had never ordered the Police Commissioner Jhony Andrijanto to burn road papers to remove evidence of crimes.

"Regarding the judicial process, please wait. We shouldn't comment on everyone there. Please finish there first," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono to reporters, Wednesday, November 11.

Awi said, if the developments that occur in the trial are always asked for confirmation to the Police, it is feared that they will have a negative impact.

"So if everything that happens in court we cross-check it here, it will actually affect the judicial process," he said.

Therefore, if new facts are found in the process of forecasting the case, it will become the investigator's note. However, there was no further explanation regarding the follow-up.

"If there are new facts related to this process, it will certainly be used as an evaluation material for investigators," he said.

In the trial, Prasetijo mentioned that Jhony's testimony about burning the letters was his order. He asked in what form the order was conveyed.

"Using what I ordered ?," he said.

"Via WA, telephone WA," replied Jhony.

After asking that, Prasetijo again asked a question about what cellphone or telephone he meant. Because, it is believed that Prasetijo never contacted Jhony.

"I never contacted that. Don't make slander here," he said.
