The Last Time To Apply For A Residence Permit Was 2008 Ago, It Was Only In 2022 That A Woman From Malaysia Was Deported From Sabang Aceh
SABANG - The Immigration Office Class II TPI Sabang City, Aceh Province, deported a foreign citizen (WNA) with the initials R from Malaysia for overstay.
Head of the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Sabang City, Hanton Hazali, said foreigners from Malaysia were deported because they had stayed in Sabang City past the specified time limit.
"We will deport this Malaysian citizen on Wednesday, July 27, 2022," said Hanton in Sabang City, Antara, Monday, July 25.
R last came to the Sabang Immigration Office to apply for an immigration stay permit in 2008. This means, he said, the foreigner had escaped surveillance and had committed immigration violations for a very long period of time so he had to be deported from Indonesian territory to return to his home country. .
Previously, he said, the Sabang Immigration Office received information from local residents, then carried out further investigations against the foreigner.
"Sabang Immigration has carried out administrative immigration deportation actions in accordance with applicable procedures and rules," he explained.
The Sabang Immigration Office first conducted an assessment at the Malaysian Consulate General in Medan, North Sumatra, to confirm the relevant data.
Hanton hopes that a similar incident will not happen again in Sabang City and is alert from an early age so that potential immigration violations will no longer occur in this area.
So far, there are three foreigners in Sabang City with visitation residence permits (ITK), eight limited stay permits (ITAS), and 13 permanent residence permits (ITAP).
"We would like to thank the residents and various parties who have helped in the investigation process so that the deportation can be carried out," he said.
