The Deputy Governor Of DKI Said, Rizieq Shihab Cannot Use Monas For The 212 Reunion: PSBB!
JAKARTA - Leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Muhammad Rizieq Shihab plans to use the National Monument (Monas) area for the 212 Reunion on December 2. Rizieq even admitted that he had sent a letter requesting the use of Monas to the DKI Provincial Government. However, Deputy Governor of DKI, Ahmad Riza Patria, emphasized that Monas cannot be used during the transitional PSBB period.
"Until this day Monas is not allowed to open, regarding the PSBB," said Riza at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 10.
Riza admitted that she did not know that Rizieq had sent a permit to use Monas. Even so, he allowed all parties to apply for a license.
"We will check later because we do not know about the matter (application for a permit to use Monas). Indeed, all can apply for a permit, but according to the provisions we have not yet," he said.
For information, Chairman of the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), Slamet Maarif, said that Rizieq had sent a letter requesting permission to use the National Monument as a location for the action to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
"We have sent a letter to the monas of the DKI Regional Government 3 months ago to request a 212 Reunion event, Monas (managed) by the DKI Regional Government," said Slamet.
After DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan issued a permit for the use of the Monas area for the 212 Reunion, Slamet will forward a notification letter to Polda Metro Jaya.
Slamet admitted that his party was still preparing the technical implementation of the reunion event. Because, currently Indonesia is still being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We are reviewing the format. Hopefully within a day or two there will be a decision. Because we are also coordinating with the DKI Regional Government regarding the development of COVID-19," said Slamet.
