The Witness Admits That Brigadier General Prasetijo Ordered Orders To Burn A Fake Pass After Being Summoned By The Head Of Criminal Investigation
JAKARTA - The public prosecutor presented witness Jhony Andrijanto in the trial of the alleged fake pass with the defendant Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo. Jhony is Prasetijo's subordinate.
In his testimony, Jhony admitted that he had been ordered by Prasetijo to burn a document. The order, he said, was conveyed after Prasetijo was summoned by the Head of Criminal Investigation, Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
This was conveyed by Jhony when the prosecutor asked him the reason for burning the file. To the prosecutor, Jhony admitted that he did not know the purpose of burning the file. He only carried out orders from superiors.
"I didn't ask (the purpose of burning the document). But at that time he said that 'I (Berigjen Prasetijo) was summoned by Kabareskrim'," said Jhony at the East Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, November 10.
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Prasetijo was summoned by the Kabareskrim at that time, it was said to be related to Joko Tjandra's travel letter. Initially Jhony did not understand about the pass in question. But after a while he remembered the letter he had burned.
"(Called) If there is a viral passport," he said.
Previously, Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo was said to have ordered his men to burn fake letters of the 2009 Bank Bali cessie convict Joko Soegiarto Tjandra.
"Around July 2020, news appeared in the media regarding the whereabouts of Joko Tjandra, who was known to have entered Indonesia using a fake passport. For this, the defendant Prasetijo Utomo was worried and on July 8, 2020 ordered Jhony Andrijanto to burn the documents used on the pick-up trip. Joko Tjandra, "said the prosecutor while reading out Prasetijo's indictment at the East Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, October 13.
Joko Tjandra as a convict based on the Supreme Court's Judgment (PK) on June 11, 2009 was sentenced to 2 years in prison, but he escaped so that since June 17, 2009 he was assigned a fugitive status and entered the People Wanted List (DPO) of the Directorate General of Immigration and the Interpol Red list Notice.
"The pick-up was carried out from Pontianak to Jakarta on June 6 and 8 2020. The defendant said 'Jhon ... where were the yesterday's letters stored? And the answer was' I have the same general ... 'then the defendant said' burn all!" said the prosecutor.
Jhony then took a travel letter, a COVID-19 examination certificate and a health recommendation letter on behalf of Prasetijo Utomo, Anita Dewi Kolopaking and Joko Soegiarto along with the exposure to the OJK report which he kept and then burned.
After burning it, Jhony documented it and reported it directly to Prasetijo.
"After seeing the photo stored on Jhony Andrijanto's cellphone, the defendant said 'Do not use the cellphone again' since then the white Samsung A70 cellphone and the simcard were no longer used and were stored in the car," said the prosecutor.
