COVID-19 Update As Of November 10: 3,779 New Cases, Total 444,348 Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has released data on developments in handling COVID-19. Based on examination of 33,063 specimens, there were found 3,779 new positive cases.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 444,348 people," quoted from data from the Ministry of Health, Tuesday, November 10.
Meanwhile, the number of cases recovered increased by 3,475, so the total was 375,741 people who recovered from COVID-19. Meanwhile, the number of cases died increased by 72 to become 14,761 people.
Provincial data with the most additional positive cases are in DKI Jakarta. Based on data, as many as 1,013 people in the capital have tested positive for COVID-19. So that the total residents of DKI who have been infected have become 113,756 people.
Then, other provinces with a high number of positive cases were still in West Java with 748 cases. Then, Central Java with 680 cases.
Meanwhile, the province with the most recovered cases was also occupied by DKI Jakarta with 1,253 cases. Then, West Java with 905 cases and East Java with 301 cases.
As of today, there are 6 provinces that reported no additional new cases. Among them are West Kalimantan, Riau Islands, Lampung, Papua, West Sulawesi and Gorontalo.
In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 4,857452. In detail, a total of 4,769,139 specimens were examined using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 88,313 specimens using molecular rapid tests (TCM).
"The number of positive results per number of specimens examined (positivity rate) was 14.2 percent," he wrote.
Finally, for the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 55,560 people. Currently, 503 districts / cities from 34 provinces have cases of COVID-19.
