Siwi Sidi's Answer In The Garuda Flight Attendant 'Mistress' Case

JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia flight attendant, Siwi Sidi Purnawanti, fulfilled the summons of investigators from Polda Metro Jaya. Siwi came to be examined for the first time regarding his report on the @digeeembok twitter account.

In his examination agenda, the stewardess of the state-owned airline was asked 42 questions which lasted for about five hours. Siwi clarified the issue of him being a mistress or mistress.

Siwi also admitted that he was ready to undergo the ongoing legal process, including if the police summoned a number of his colleagues for questioning. "Ready (facing the legal process). Not yet coordinating with investigators (about the number of witnesses to be presented)," said Siwi.

According to attorney Vidi G Syarief, who is Siwi Sidi's attorney, firmly denied the posting of the @digeeembok Twitter account. He emphasized that the posting of 'Garuda's mistress' addressed to his client constituted slander. He accused that there were people behind social media who were looking for profit, from rumors that were not true.

"Yes, of course people are not the media, but people who are involved in the business sector are like lambe turah. Those who take financial benefits are definitely from slandering and bullying people both electronically and in others," said Vidi.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that he had finished examining Siwi as the reporting party. In addition, investigators will also examine several witnesses and expert testimony regarding this case.

"If all the information has been examined, the statements will be taken, these results will be issued to find out whether the elements suspected of defamation of the electronic media are included or not. If they do enter, they will move up to the level of investigation," said Yusri.

Previously, the @digeeembok account was previously reported by the Vice President for Cabin Crew of PT Garuda Indonesia, Roni Eka Mirsa. This is because the officials of the state-owned company are said to be pimps.

In an effort to investigate the case, Friday, December 6, the statement of the reporter has been taken. Thus, on suspicion of defamation, the owner of the Twitter account may be subject to Article 27 paragraph 3 of the 2019 Law concerning ITE and 310, 311 of the Criminal Code, which carries approximately four years imprisonment.
