Four people who did not have time to escape were eventually hit, "said AKBP Arief in a written statement, Saturday, July 23.
Arief also explained, from the results of the preliminary examination to AW, the perpetrator was positive for drugs.
“The person concerned has admitted that on his way to Pekalongan he used Eximer and Tarnadon psychotropic drugs. Previously he used methamphetamine. We will also complete the urine test results and send them to the forensic laboratory in Semarang to convince the investigators," he added.
Furthermore, the Police Chief said that later AW would be subject to multiple articles.
"There are two impositions of articles. The first is the traffic law, in this case article 310 paragraph 3 or 311 paragraph 3 of the traffic law number 22 of 2009 and we also apply it in articles 112 and 127 regarding psychotropic users in law number 35 of 2009," said AKBP Arief.
