Leaks Of The 48th MHT Committee, This Year's Winner's Work Is Honest And Critical
JAKARTA - The highlight of the 48th 2022 Mohammad Husni Thamrin Journalistic Award (MHT Awards) at the City Hall Ballroom of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, 12 August. Well, there is a leak from the committee, if the winner of this annual event is honest but still critical.
"The winners this time are extraordinary. They produce journalistic works with the spirit of showing the progress of the city of Jakarta without losing their critical power," said Irmanto, chairman of the jury for the 48-2022 MHT Awards, after the PWI Jaya daily management meeting, Friday, July 22.
"They are able to describe every breath of the dynamics of the life of the capital city and the happiness of the happiness of its citizens," continued the deputy chairman of PWI Jakarta for organization.
"Their journalistic products can be a reference for journalists who explore and cover urban problems," explained Irmanto. "We need such reliable journalists," he said. The MH Thamrin Journalism Award is an annual event for the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Discominfotik, representing the dynamics of capital city development.
For the 48th MHT Awards in 2022, there are still 7 categories of journalistic works to be contested. These works will be published in print, electronic and online media between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022.
Starting from the 48-2022 MHT Awards, awards were given to 3 people in each category. Namely, a winner and 2 nominees. Namely, the text category, the photo category, the terrestrial TV video category, the streaming TV video category, the radio category, the infographic category, and the editorial category.
FriendshipThe Chairperson of the MHT Awards Committee 48-2022 Dr.Budi Nugraha explained the plan to meet the family of the late Mohammad Husni Thamrin. "God willing, we will implement it this July. We will also coordinate with our friends at Diskominfotik," he said.

"We are still waiting for confirmation from other business partners," said Budi.
In addition to visiting the family residence of the late Mohammad Husni Thamrin, the MHT Awards 48-2022 committee still has one supporting activity in the "Road to MHT Awards 2022".
One remaining activity ahead of the MHT Awards is the seminar "Quo vadis Jakarta post IKN", which will be held Tuesday (2/8) morning starting at 10.00 WIB at the Mercu Buana University (UMB) Studio, Jakarta.
