Siti Fadia Not Paired With Apriyani At The 2022 Badminton World Championships, Will Have A Duet With Ribka Sugiarto

JAKARTA - Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti will participate in the 2022 Badminton World Championship which will take place in Japan on August 22-28. However, he will not duet with Apriyani Rahayu.

Siti Fadia will be paired with Ribka Sugiarto, her tandem before being paired with Apriyani. The Fadia/Rebekah duo last performed in March.

Before they were separated, Siti Fadia/Ribka had received an invitation from BWF to appear in the World Championships because at that time they were ranked 27th in women's doubles. This was also confirmed by the Head of Public Relations and Media of PBSI, Broto Happy.

Besides Fadia/Ribka, BWF also sent invitations to four other Indonesian women's doubles, namely Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu, Nita Violina/Putri Syaikah, Della Destiara/Rizky Amelia, and Yulfira Barkah/Jauza Fadhila.

However, two couples will certainly not appear. Greysia Polii has decided to retire, while Della/Rizky are no longer playing.
