SEMARANG - The police asked three other perpetrators in the shooting incident of Rina Wulandari (34), the wife of a member of the 15th Air Defense Artillery Battalion of the Indonesian Army in Semarang, on July 18, 2022, to surrender.
"We ask to surrender immediately, because we have the identity of the modus and motive of the perpetrator," said Head of Semarang Polrestabes Kombes Irwan Anwar in Semarang, Antara, Friday, July 22.
According to him, one perpetrator who acted as the executor of the shooting has been arrested. Along with the perpetrators, firearms allegedly used to shoot were also confiscated.
"The perpetrator was arrested in the border area between Semarang City and Demak Regency. At his relative's house," he said.
However, Anwar was not willing to explain in more detail about the whereabouts of the perpetrators at that place and the chronology of the arrests.
Previously, the police had already secured two motorbikes used by the four perpetrators during the action.
The two motorcycles, each a green Kawasaki Ninja were confiscated at a house in Mijen, Semarang, while the Honda Beat was confiscated from a house in Sayung, Demak Regency.
Wulandari (34) was shot by an unknown person in front of his house, Jalan Cemara III, Banyumanik, Semarang, Monday, July 18. He was shot twice in the stomach.
