Police Headquarters Investigators Still Examining Brigadier J's Family In Jambi
JAMBI - The Bareskrim Investigation Team at the National Police Headquarters was still investigating the family of the late Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or known as Brigadier J at the Jambi Police Headquarters until Friday afternoon.
The team was led directly by the Main Crime Investigator of TK II Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Agus Suharnoko, who had left the examination room. Agus, who wore a white shirt when he left the room, was accompanied by another team of investigators.
He said the examination of Brigadier J's family was still ongoing because the number of family members examined by the investigator team at the National Police Headquarters was 11 people.
"There are 11 people from Joshua's family. They are also accompanied by their lawyers, both in Jambi and from Jakarta. All are complete," Brigadier General Agus told reporters as reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 22.
Previously, the family who came to the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters numbered seven people, while investigators from the National Police Headquarters amounted to eight people.
The investigation carried out at the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters is not yet known for sure. Until this news was revealed, the family and investigators from the National Police Headquarters were still in the examination room.
Meanwhile, the National Police Headquarters has followed up on the police report filed by the family of Bripda Yoshua, which was reported by his legal team on Monday (18/7). The family of Bripda Joshua or Brigadier J reported the alleged crime of premeditated murder with the threat of punishment as stipulated in Article 340 in conjunction with Article 338 in conjunction with Article 351 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
The report has been followed up by conducting an initial case title on Wednesday (20/7) and asking for clarification from the legal team as the reporting party. In addition, the National Police also agreed to the request of the family of Bripda Joshua for a re-autopsy or exhumation (tomb dismantling for justice).
Kamaruddin Simanjuntak as a member of Brigadier Yohsua's family legal team said that his party was in Jambi to provide assistance to the family of Brigadier Yosua or Brigadier J who was currently undergoing examination and stated that there were 11 people who were questioned by investigators. They are the parents of Bripda Joshua, younger brothers, sisters, aunts, relatives, and hospital employees in Jambi.
