Komnas HAM Is Currently Investigating The Matter Of Brigadier J's Death And Its Nature Is Still A Secret

JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) will dig up information from the forensic doctor who autopsied the body of Brigadier J.

"We will dig up information or explore information and so on to the doctor who did the autopsy," said Komnas HAM member Choirul Anam in Jakarta, Friday, July 22.

Apart from asking the forensic doctor for information, Komnas HAM currently admits that it is still investigating something. However, Choirul kept this secret.

"On the other hand, we are working on another theme. Apart from examining the wound, the team is also doing something that we cannot tell yet," he said.

The result could be a provision for Komnas HAM to ask for information from other divisions that had previously been examined by a team from the police.

Komnas HAM needs support from all parties so that it can work impartially and independently in investigating the cause of Brigadier J's death at the official residence of the inactive Police Head of the Profession and Security Division (Kadiv Propam), Inspector General Pol. Freddy Sambo.

"Support Komnas HAM tracing the existing facts, be it photos, videos, and so on," he said.

Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo ordered the National Police to be open and thoroughly investigate the investigation into the shooting between members that killed Brigadier Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.

Jokowi has explicitly asked the police to be open, honest as they are, and not to cover up anything in the investigation of the shooting case.

"Transparency in the investigation into the shooting that killed Brigadier J is very important so that there will be no public doubts about the Polri institution," said the President.
