4 Players Called In Virtual Training For U-19 National Team, This Is The Message From The Borneo FC Assistant Manager

JAKARTA - Borneo FC asked the four players who were summoned in the virtual training of the Indonesia U-19 national team to prove their quality, not because they were simply splashed out of luck.

"Yes, my first message to them is to be confident. You are called because you have quality, not the origin of the summons," said Borneo FC assistant manager Ahmad Amiruddin as quoted by Antara from the club's official website, Tuesday, November 10.

The four Borneo FC players who were called to do the virtual TC were Komang Teguh Trisnanda, Fajar Fathur Rahman, Arya Gerryan Putra Senyiur, and Pualam Bahari.

The last two names were initially excluded from the list of 33 players taking part in the virtual TC from November 5 to 15.

However, a few days ago Arya and Pualam were called by Shin Tae-yong along with two other players, namely Hamza Lestaluhu and Serdy Ephyfano from Bhayangkara FC.

Ahmad hopes that this golden opportunity can be maximized by his young players to improve their abilities. However, if they are not elected, don't be discouraged and have to evaluate yourself.

"So you have to be sure of your abilities. In that you just have to compete on a fairplay basis with other players. If you do pass, Alhamdulillah, if it doesn't mean you need to learn more to fix the shortcomings," he said.

Meanwhile, Arya Gerryan said he was grateful to have a second chance to be able to take part in the Garuda Muda squad.

Arya previously attended the U-19 national team training camp a few months ago in Jakarta, but his name did not qualify in the final list of players who were brought to Croatia.

"Alhamdulilah, I am very happy to be given the opportunity to return. Hopefully I can give my best and work hard," he said.
