Accidentally Hit His Head On An Electric Cable, A Man In Tangerang Half His Body Burned And Fell On The 2nd Floor Of A Neighbor's House

TANGERANG - A man named Rohmat suffered burns on his body due to being electrocuted by an electric cable while trying to fix a neighbor's roof tile.

Head of Emergency and Logistics BPBD Tangerang Regency Abdul Munir said the incident occurred on Jalan Raya Pipa, Belimbing Village, Kosambi, Tangerang Regency, Friday, July 22, at 10.40 WIB.

At first, when Rohmat was asked to fix a leaky roof tile by his supervisor, Ami. During the work, the victim's head unknowingly touched the power cable until he was electrocuted.

"The victim went to the 2nd floor. Coincidentally, the JTR power line unknowingly touched the cable's head until it was electrocuted and fell to the floor," said Munir when confirmed, Friday, July 22.

Munir said that as a result of the incident the victim suffered burns up to 50 percent of his body. In addition, the victim also suffered abrasions when he fell.

"Fifty percent burns," he said.

Now the victim has been rushed to Mitra Husada Hospital, Teluk Naga, Tangerang Regency. Take further action.

"The victim is under Mitra Husada Teluk Naga hospital," he concluded.
