Bunda Hospital Manager Wants To Divide Rp22 Billion Dividend, Good News For BHMS Stock Investors!

JAKARTA - Exactly a year since its shares were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange through an initial public offering (IPO) mechanism, PT Bundamedik Healthcare System Tbk held its inaugural Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM). In the AGMS which took place on July 21, 2022, it was agreed that the company with the stock code BMHS will distribute part of its net profit in 2021 as dividends.

Quoting Bundamedik's statement, Friday, July 22, the amount of the dividend was Rp22 billion. This figure is equivalent to 6.98 percent of the company's net profit in 2021 of IDR 315 billion.

This year's AGMS also decided to use the remaining net profit to be reserved as retained earnings.

President Director of Bundamedik Mesha Rizal Sini explained, the decision of the GMS to immediately distribute dividends after a year since the IPO and in the midst of stressful economic conditions again proves the strength of business fundamentals and the company's foresight in executing the right expansion strategy.

"With the trust of shareholders, the company is on the right track to achieve long-term and sustainable growth as the leading and most comprehensive health ecosystem in Indonesia," said Mesha.

Within a year since the IPO, the company through 10 business units in its ecosystem including Bunda Hospital Group, Morula IVF, Indonesian Fertility Clinic, Diagnos, and Indonesian Medical Tourism Board (IMTB), BMHS has been able to reach 147.8 million people in 10 provinces in Indonesia.

In addition, the company that manages the Bunda hospital also continues to actively expand its ecosystem network to areas outside Java, including through the opening of clinics and hospitals in Palembang and Denpasar in 2021. Overall, the number of laboratories in the company's ecosystem has doubled. during 2021.

"Not only realizing business targets, we are grateful to be able to exceed the projections that have been targeted in the midst of various economic challenges. This achievement is reflected in a very good increase in revenue and net profit, which rose 49 percent and 166 percent respectively during 2021," said Mesha.
