Firli Bahuri Is Good At Making Fried Rice, But Why Does It Take So Long To Look For Harun Masiku
JAKARTA - His hands are skilled at stirring the rice in the frying pan with iron silk. Not long after, the fried rice was cooked. Fried rice made by Firli Bahuri was served during the 'Gathering of KPK Leaders, Supervisory Board, Structural Officials with Media Coverage Crew at the KPK'.
Firli also looks different when cooking, like a professional chef, he uses an apron complete with a chef's hat. Occasionally he smiled at the camera, when his cooking action caught the attention of the reporters present.
"Tonight we enjoy fried rice by Chef Firli, please enjoy the others and I will cook," he said in his speech before starting to cook fried rice at the KPK Support Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, January 20.
After the cooking was cooked, Firli then distributed it to a number of officials at the KPK, including the supervisory board. Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the KPK, Tumpak Hatorangan, received the first plate, when the fried rice was cooked.
The event was walking casually, Firli occasionally greeted the reporters and invited him to chat. To the chief journalist from the Bhayangkara Corps, he said that his fried rice was well known. Even when he served as Kapolda South Sumatra, fried rice was famous for its enjoyment.
Firli may be good at cooking fried rice. However, in terms of finding fugitives for bribery cases related to the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the Indonesian Parliament for the 2019-2024 period, namely Harun Masiku, his ability is still in doubt. Moreover, until now the institution he leads is still looking for the existence of this PDI-P candidate.
"One of the corruption suspects has yet to be found and we are continuing to search for HM (Harun Masiku)," he said after the event.
He also said that currently the KPK has coordinated with the police to assist in the arrest of the fugitive, including to include Harun's name on the Wanted List (DPO).
"Yes, I have (entered the DPO). Not long ago, I didn't know exactly but it was, the important thing was (entered)," said Firli, adding that he would conduct a search of a number of information circulating if Harun was currently in South Sulawesi.
It is known that Harun was indeed called the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as having left Indonesia and was in Singapore since January 6 via Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
It's just that, recently it was rumored that Harun had returned to Indonesia the day after or on January 7 through the same airport and even though there was some evidence such as CCTV from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, the immigration authorities still denied that Harun had returned to Indonesia.
However, according to Firli, all this information will be accommodated first and later, he will ask investigators to immediately search for the perpetrator of the KPU commissioner bribery, Wahyu Setiawan.
There is Punishment of Stalking Those Who Hide Aaron
Meanwhile, Plt. KPK spokesman for the prosecution department Ali Fikri still said that Harun was currently still abroad, as stated by the immigration authorities. It's just that, just like Firli, he said, various information that said the PDIP candidates from the South Sulawesi I electoral district were already in Indonesia would be further investigated by investigators.
He also appealed to anyone who knows Harun's whereabouts to immediately report to the KPK. "This is a form of persuasion and we also take action to request an arrest to the Police to pursue the person concerned," he said.
On that occasion, Fikri also spoke about Article 21 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended in Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Corruption Eradication. According to him, this article might be imposed on those who help Harun or in this case it means blocking the process of investigating a corruption case.
"It is very possible (Article 21 applied) for anyone in the process of investigation and prosecution that hinders the work of investigation and prosecution. But it needs to be studied further and further related to that," said the KPK public prosecutor (JPU).
The study, according to Ali, needs to be carried out to ensure that there are parties blocking the investigation process. "Including in the future if the prosecution occurs, yes, we can apply Article 21. But so far it has not been entered there," he said.
In addition to talking about the article that regulates obstruction of justice or the act of obstructing the investigation of cases, Fikri also said that if Harun is not cooperative in this case, it is not impossible that his sentence will be heavier during the trial process. This is because the suspect's cooperative attitude will be one of the considerations.
"Of course anyone who is not cooperative will be considered a burdensome excuse,"
Fikri
Previously reported, the KPK has appointed the former commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan as a suspect in receiving bribes related to the appointment of members of the Indonesian Parliament for the 2019-2024 period. He was appointed as a recipient of bribes, along with Agustiani Tio Fridelina (ATF) who is a former member of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) who are his confidants.
The givers of bribes were Harun Masiku (HAR) who was a candidate from the PDI-P in the 2019 Pileg and Saeful who was called a private party but was suspected of being one of the party's top staff.
In this case, Wahyu is said to have asked for an operational fee of Rp. 900 million to change the results of the KPU plenary regarding PAW members of the DPR RI to replace Nazarudin Kiemas who was a PDIP candidate from the South Sumatra I electoral district who died.
