Active Again After Social Media Detox, Take A Peek At Cita Citata's Portrait Bringing A Bouquet Of Flowers
YOGYAKARTA – Hoax news that spread at the end of last December, 2021, reported that Cita Citata had passed away. The video of the news that does not match the reality was uploaded with the title Innalillahi Sad News, Long Time Not Appearing on the Screen, Cita Citata, Died. There is also no clarification on the news. However, netizens still find Cita's latest portrait upload on Instagram.
Early last July, Cita uploaded the news that she wanted to detox from social media. He uploaded a black background portrait with the words "Time to take a break."
After returning from the social media detox, he came back dressed in black carrying a bouquet of white roses and lilies.
In the portrait upload above, Cita explains the reasons why she rests and lives a normal life without social media. He wrote, “The reason I definitely took a break was when my work contract ended. Not because of slanderous gossip, looh.. I won't admit what I didn't do because women must have principles and self-respect. It's useless to want to defend yourself, the truth is not necessarily acceptable (the name is also a stage play)."
In addition to the reasons that he expressed through the description of the Instagram upload of the @cita_citata account, he also expressed his point of view about the importance of social media detox. To be clear, there are times when people forget that they actually live in the real world, not virtual.
He added, after almost a decade of living in cyberspace, everything has to look perfect and not be yourself with consideration of content, algorithms, likes, views, and followers. He wrote more reflectively, "In the past, people could live in peace without social media, why can't we?"
After the February 24 incident, in which Cita was asked to remain on stage by management despite being positive for COVID-19, she stated that she left management because of her disappointment.
Slanted gossip also hit when he began to show closeness to Didi Mahardika. The message in one of the portrait uploads, "Happiness is being able to choose what we want without any pressure.. Don't forget to be happy, okay?"
Upon his return from the moment of 'hibernation', the singer of the song Pain Tuh Here, uploaded a portrait and two IG stories with Didi Mahardika.
