LPEI Exhibits Foster Partners' Products At The Road To G20 Bali Exhibition
JAKARTA - Indonesia holds the G20 Presidency for one year starting from December 1, 2021 to November 2022 with the theme Recover Together, Recover Stronger. The Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI)/ Indonesia Eximbank as the Ministry of Finance's Special Mission Vehicle (SMV), participated in the G20 welcoming event which was held in Bali from 13 to 17 July 2022.
LPEI's support on this occasion was to bring a variety of export-oriented micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products that have been fostered partners of CPNE since 2017 until now as well as several MSME debtors to be displayed in front of all country delegates who are members of the G20.
"This program aims to create new exporters and promote regional export commodities. LPEI is proud to be able to participate in this historic event," said LPEI Executive Director, Riyani Tirtoso in a statement, Tuesday, July 19.
MSMEs participating in the exhibition include Maharani Craft - Bali, which offers premium uniqueness for handicrafts that function as home décor, Maharani Craft products have successfully exported their products to the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Japan and South Korea, then UD Kamasan - Bali, which is engaged in the metal casting industry or coins and other accessories that have artistic value, the Balinese kepeng kamasan money industry has succeeded in exporting to Malaysia.
Furthermore, Runa Jewelry - Bali, which produces silver-based handicrafts, Runa succeeded in exporting its products in the form of accessories to Japan, the United States, England and Italy, then the UMKM CV Dharma Siadja was established in 1940 which produces Balinese handicrafts/home decorations with high quality. their products have succeeded in stealing the attention of American and European countries.
Then there is PT Arum Jaya Perdana - Bali, which produces environmentally friendly products in the form of bamboo straws made from natural bamboo and processed naturally, Arum's products have now been successfully exported to the UK and Singapore. In addition, Bali Tangi - Padangsambian Kaja Village, Denpasar is a manufacturer of spa equipment that uses herbal ingredients, the products offered include essential oils, natural body scrubs and have been exported to Australia.
Other LPEI partners who were also present at the Road to G20 exhibition were PT Asia Garment Internasional - Denpasar, which produces handmade batik sarongs, batik fabrics, batik leisure clothes with 100 percent rayon and 100 percent cotton which are currently exported to three countries. , namely the United States, United Kingdom and Italy.
In addition to business actors from Bali, LPEI also brought business actors from Yogyakarta and surrounding areas, namely Shiroshima - Yogyakarta, a participant in the 2022 CPNE, a fashion brand that makes batik as ready-to-wear clothing by combining traditional and modern contemporary elements, MSME Haveltea - Malang, is a brewer that is made from a blend of pure tea leaves with spices as well as fruits, the method of making its products supports a better economic impact on the local farmers and women living around the Haveltea factory.
Then Wastraloka is a CPNE participant since 2017 from Klaten who produces various kinds of household products using processed materials derived from refrigerator door waste. .
"We hope that the MSME products displayed at the Road to G20 exhibition can attract the attention of delegates from friendly countries, so that they can reflect Indonesia's strength to rise up in the face of the pandemic with enthusiasm and positivity," said Riyani.
