Wild Monkey Who Attacked Boy And Seriously Injured In Cirebon Arrested
CIREBON - Residents paralyzed a wild monkey that attacked a boy so that he was seriously injured in Setupatok Village, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province.
Mundu Sub-district Head Anwar Sadat said that the officers and residents managed to paralyze the monkey after chasing them for about an hour.
"We gave chase for about an hour, and thank God the residents were able to paralyze it," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 19.
The monkey is a wild animal, not a resident's pet. Anwar said the wild monkey on Monday (18/7) attacked a four-year-old child who was returning from the river with his parents.
According to him, the boy who was attacked by the wild monkey was seriously injured, his stomach was torn, and his condition was critical.
"The child who was attacked by wild monkeys is currently in hospital, and has been operated on," he said.
