Involved In Bullying Case, Nam Joo Hyuk Precisely Starring In Drama Vigilante

JAKARTA - Nam Joo Hyuk is rumored to be starring in a Korean drama titled Vigilante. The actor is said to be attending the inaugural script reading event which will be held today, Monday, July 18.

Vigilante which is adapted from a webtoon tells of Ji Yong (Nam Joo Hyuk), a student at a police school who is looking for his parents' enemies. Every week, he tries to judge the criminals.

Then there is Mi Ryeo, a reporter who recognizes Ji Yong as a Vigilante figure. On the other hand, there are investigators who are looking for a man named Jo Heon.

According to YTN Star, Vigilante's script reading will be held today. Besides Nam Joo Hyuk, there were Yoo Ji Tae and Lee Joon Hyuk who also attended the event. This is his latest project after Twenty Five Twenty One.

Nam Joo Hyuk's presence is a concern considering he was involved in the bullying controversy at school.

In June, an informant with the initials A claimed Nam Joo Hyuk had been violent at school for six years.

He also mentioned that the actor joined the Iljin group, which means a group with a large negative influence. The actor reportedly often asked classmates for money and threw the contents of a mechanical pencil and pulled a chair.

Launching The Days News, the victims now admit to being traumatized every time they see Nam Joo Hyuk on television. He hopes this statement can help other victims who have experienced the same thing.

Management SOOP's agency denied all these allegations and stated that Nam Joo Hyuk would take this case to court.

“Our agency had no choice but to respond to protect our actor's reputation. And we will process the lawsuit against the rumor maker quickly. We also plan to sue YouTubers or media that spread unfounded rumors," said Management SOOP.
