President-Elect Joe Biden Will Speech At 8 AM Western Indonesian Time

JAKARTA - The Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, officially won the vote count. Biden will hold his victory speech at 8 p.m. local time or 8 a.m. WIB.

Edison Research and a number of major television networks, including CNN and NBC have confirmed the victory of Biden who won 290 electoral colleges. Meanwhile, Trump collected 214 electoral colleges.

The victory was won by Biden when voters firmly rejected the rowdy leadership of incumbent Republican Donald Trump to welcome Biden's promises of new efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic, mend the economy and heal a divided nation.

Biden, 77, became the oldest candidate elected as US president because Trump significantly failed to expand his appeal to reach groups beyond rural white voters and the working class who are committed to supporting right-wing populism and "America First" nationalism.
