An Earthquake Of 4.9 Magnitude Shakes Pangandaran And Its Vibrations Can Be Felt Up To The Lake

JAKARTA - An earthquake measuring 4.9 M shook the southwest of Pangandaran. This earthquake did not generate a tsunami wave.

The location of the earthquake was at a depth of 28 km. Data from BMKG, the earthquake occurred on July 16, 2022 at 22:05.

The exact location is coordinates: 8.17 South Latitude-107.89 East Longitude (Earthquake epicenter was at sea 84 km southwest of Pangandaran).

A number of Tasikmalaya residents claimed to feel the tremors of this earthquake. Even residents in Cilacap feel the same way.
