11 Victims Of KKB Shooting And Persecution Evacuated To Timika
PAPUA - A total of 11 people who were victims of shootings and persecution by the armed criminal group (KKB) in Nogolaid, Nduga Regency, Papua, were evacuated to Timika, Saturday, July 16.
Air Force Commander Yohanis Kapiyau, Lieutenant Colonel Pnb Slamet Suhartono, said that the evacuation of the victims used four fleets, namely one plane and three helicopters belonging to the TNI-Polri.
The fleets that were deployed to evacuate the victims were an aircraft belonging to Rimbun Air, a Caracal TNI-AU helicopter, a Bell helicopter belonging to Penerbad and a Police helicopter.
Lt. Col. Pnb Slamet said the evacuation went smoothly with a tight escort of members and currently all the victims are in Timika.
Based on the Antara report, as many as 11 people were victims of the KKB attack, 10 of whom died, namely Pdt. Elias Serbaye (54 years), Yulius Watu, (23 years), Habertus Goti (41 years), Daenk Maramli (41 years), Taufan Amir (42 years), Johan (26 years).
Next up was Alex (45), Yuda Hurusinga, Has Jon (41), Sirajudi (27), and Sudirman.
The KKB led by Egianus Kogoya, on Saturday, July 16, was suspected of carrying out an attack by shooting at residents in Nogolaid.
