Police Arrest Spreader Of Pornographic Content Via Facebook Messenger In South Sulawesi
MAKASSAR - The police arrested a man who spread pornography through the Facebook Messenger application in Barru, South Sulawesi.
The Head of Barru Police Public Relations, Kompol Sainuddin said that the Reskrim Resmob team had succeeded in arresting the perpetrators of the criminal act of spreading pornographic content through online media. The evidence confiscated included a mobile phone and simcard and a Facebook account @ Mahmud Jet Biotik Crown.

From the reports received, the police conducted an investigation into the reported Facebook account. This account was used by the perpetrator to upload photos of the genitals which were then sent to the victim.
"After the perpetrator was identified, the team then arrested the perpetrator," he said.
From the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator M admitted to committing an IT crime by contacting the victim via chat messenger with the intention of getting acquainted. But the perpetrator was annoyed that his message was not returned.
"Because the perpetrator's chat was not replied to by the victim, the perpetrator was annoyed and then the perpetrator sent a photo of his genitals that had been photographed earlier to the victim's account. Then the perpetrator opened the victim's photos and then saw them while masturbating," said Sainuddin.
"Apart from the victims mentioned above, there are still many other victims who were chatted through the Messenger chat application by the perpetrator by inviting acquaintances and then sending photos of their genitals with 10 victims," he concluded.
