Singapore Open 2022 Results: Apriyani/Fadia Successfully Beat Japan's Representative To The Semifinals, Gregoria Falls

JAKARTA - Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva managed to advance to the semifinals of the Singapore Open 2022 after crushing representatives of Japan, Sayaka Hobara/Hinata Suzuki. Unfortunately Gregoria Mariska Tunjung fell.

In the quarter-finals meeting at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Friday 15 July, Apriyani/Fadia only needed 27 minutes to win. They ensured a ticket to the semifinals through straight games which ended 21-14 and 21-12.

The air of Apriyani/Fadia's victory was felt from the start of the first game points. This is because they are able to secure points and continue to stay away without being overtaken.

Apriyani/Fadia excelled in the first interval with a score of 11-3, the distance of eight points that became the separator could not be caught by Sayaka/Hinata. The situation was increasingly in favor of Apriyani/Fadia, who became increasingly crazed by making the distance further and eventually winning 21-14.

In the second game, the Chinese representatives tried to turn things around, but their efforts did not go smoothly. Although they had equalized the acquisition of Apriyani/Fadia on the second point, they were again left behind in the second interval with a score of 5-11.
