Denies Interested In Signing Cristiano Ronaldo, Saudi Arabian Club Al-Kawkab FC: Not Included In Club Plans

JAKARTA - Club from Saudi Arabia Al-Kawkab FC dismissed rumors about their desire to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo. They insisted on calling the issue untrue.

This week news emerged that an unnamed Arab club wanted to sign Ronaldo. They are willing to offer a fantastic 3.7 trillion contract with a duration of two years.

The speculation was later attributed to Al-Kawkab. However, in a recent statement on social media, the club dismissed this information.

"Rumors about the relationship between Portuguese players Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Kawkab are not true. Players are not included in the club's plans at all," they wrote, quoted by Tribal Football.

Ronaldo's future at Manchester United has recently become increasingly uncertain after they failed to qualify for the European Champions League next season.

The Portugal international was reported earlier this month to have asked the Red Devils to let him go. He demanded the club to accept the offer if it was suitable.

Ronaldo himself has missed the Red Devils pre-season tour for family reasons. He did not participate in the squad that flew to Thailand and Australia.

However, new coach Erik ten Hag has made it clear that the club has no plans to sell the 37-year-old.

Ronaldo moved from Juventus to Manchester United in the summer of 2021. He is under contract with the Old Trafford club until the summer of 2023 with the possibility of an extension for another season.

Apart from being linked with Arab clubs, Ronaldo has also been linked with Chelsea and Bayern Munich. However, the two clubs have openly stated that they are not interested in CR7.
