PPAT Supervisory Board Inaugurates ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto: Don't Be Part Of The Land Mafia!
JAKARTA - The Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto has left a message to the ranks of Land Deed Making Officials (PPAT) not to fall into the land mafia syndicate.
This was conveyed by Minister Hadi at the Appointment of Oath of the Central PPAT Supervisory and Supervisory Council (MPPP) and the Regional PPAT Supervisory and Supervisory Council (MPPW) in Jakarta, Thursday, July 14.
"PPAT can socialize the ministry's priority programs. Accelerate the land registration process, not hamper services. And, I want to remind you once again that you should not be part of the land mafia," he said in a written statement, Friday, July 15.
Minister Hadi reminded the newly appointed PPAT Supervisory Council to assist the work of the Ministry of ATR/BPN as partners.
According to Minister Hadi, the PPAT position requires improvement in terms of guidance and supervision. He assessed that PPAT can contribute to smoothing the tasks of the Ministry of ATR/BPN through several ways, including the socialization of government programs
"I emphasize that if anyone becomes part of the land mafia, I will not give the slightest tolerance to parties involved in land mafia activities," he said, according to Antara.
The commitment to eradicate the land mafia is also in line with the mandate given by President Joko Widodo to the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, namely the resolution of land disputes and conflicts.
"When I was inaugurated by the President, there were three things I needed to convey this afternoon, the first is the acceleration or acceleration of PTSL (Complete Systematic Land Registration); the second is the resolution of land disputes and conflicts, including the eradication of mafia; and the third is to support the development of IKN (National Capital City). This is the focus of all of us," he said.
With the inauguration of the PPAT Board of Trustees and Supervisors, both centrally and regionally, it is hoped that they can immediately oversee the work of PPATs.
There are also tasks that have been waiting for after the inauguration, including coordination between the BPN Regional Office, the Regency/City Land Office and the Association of Land Deed Maker Officials (IPPAT). This is to follow up on the investigation of alleged violations of the implementation of PPAT positions and violations of the code of ethics against PPAT.
